Newbury Sub Aqua Club

Newbury Sub Aqua Club (NSAC) wanted a more modern and unique look for their website while still keeping it professional and clean. NSAC felt that their previous site relied on an out of the box content management solution and this was very much evident in the template based design.

NSAC were keen to retain the CMS as it was suitable for people with no prior web editing experience because of the familiar interface. This solution presented a challenge because the CMS was not designed to be highly customisable and as such, there were several limitations for me to work within.

The Club wanted to reflect their active dive programme, so it was agreed to make strong use of images involving divers and diving, as well as more scenic images of sealife. Additionally, I was asked to create some images for the Newbury Carnival page, which would appeal to divers, children, familiar with the cartoon Finding Nemo, and non-divers.
